If I was Weiser, I wouldn't spend a dime campaigning. The media will destroy Marx for free, with his own words.

Since Marx won, there is no way I will be voting for Weiser or Marx; So, I will be voting for Greg Lopez as he is the best candidate for Governor.

I follow the 3P rule: Policy over Person or Party. I’ve reviewed all the candidates’ policy pages. Victor has improved a lot, but he’s still missing major areas like Education and Infrastructure. Greg Lopez has a solid set of policies too — none I personally disagree with — though many unaffiliated voters will. If you’re trying to reach center‑right/center‑left unaffiliateds, Marx sits closer to the middle, and his seniors policy even reads a bit Democratic.

Marx has the stronger housing/affordability plan and he is the only one addressing 'fees'; Lopez is better on infrastructure and CPW/recreation. I’m hoping both expand and tighten their platforms. I don’t see either winning, so I’m sticking with policy first, and I’m not ready to pick a policy winner yet.

Note: Phil Weiser’s blueprint is far more detailed than either Marx or Lopez. Some parts I even agree with, most I strongly oppose (Taxes and budget are going to go way up). Debate season will be interesting if done fairly.

So who are you leaning for at this point because the last mistake I made on a Democrat was when I thought Bill Ritter would be good and he was my biggest disappointment candidate that had a D after the name and I vowed Nevermore.

I have no idea which candidate I'm going to vote for at this point. (Guarantee it won't be Weiser). I WILL vote, even if I think it's a waste of time. I swung democrat for a few years, as I just felt Republicans were too 'establishment' and career politicians. I'm embarrassed to say I was a low-informed voter, and voted for Hickenlooper and one term of Obama. Covid opened my eyes. I still vote on policy, but there are very few policies I agree with the Blue party on.

Marx is a lunatic. Weiser is totally going to win and then that is it for CO. I’m voting for Lopez which is who I would’ve voted for had Heidi not won the nomination last time.

I mean you're not wrong.

I mean, for me my question is how can someone who had multiple issues with his primary campaign, such as signatures that had to be thrown out, and funds that he had to give back, still win??? The Republican Party in this state is more screwed then before. This is going to hurt the down ballot candidates and measures. I could be wrong, but that top candidate is not going to help.

So Tricky Vic gets to continue, and the democrats, if they are smart, puts out a couple of different spots to show the looniness of Victor and they start running those spots next week, and we'll see if Vic has a response besides "you're mean."

God help us all!!

It's because many far left leaning unaffliates voted for Marx in the primary(a strategy that worked) and many right leaning unaffliates voted for Bennett vs. Kirkmyer (a strategy that did not work). Don't blame it all on the GOP and Republicans. There are many registered Republicans who did not vote for Marx. He won by a very narrow margin. Unaffiliates swung this vote. Do we need to re-evaluate Open primaries?

We should most definitely have closed primaries.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the Democrats in Colorado have to do much to convince Colorado voters that the Republican party in the state is just a clown show.
